Governments should NEVER have the right to mandate neural implants

Forcing neural implants isn’t governance—it’s mental occupation. The moment a state can access or influence your brain, freedom becomes a performance, not a reality. Security, productivity, and public health are familiar justifications, but history shows “collective good” is always the gateway to control.

There is no real consent when opting out costs your job, healthcare, or social participation. That’s coercion with better branding. And neural data isn’t like DNA or fingerprints—thoughts exist before action. Monitoring them destroys the presumption of innocence itself.

A government powerful enough to mandate access to the human mind is powerful enough to abuse it. Democracy ends where cognitive sovereignty is surrendered.
