What opinion do you hold that gets you labeled an asshole?

Some opinions don’t get debated—they get you labeled. This thread is about those beliefs you hold that instantly make people call you an asshole, insensitive, or “part of the problem.” Not because they’re cruel, but because they challenge comfort, norms, or popular narratives.

This isn’t a safe-space confessional or a rage dump—it’s a place to examine why certain truths provoke hostility, whether the label is fair, and what that says about society, honesty, and accountability. What opinion do you hold that reliably gets you labeled an asshole?

That most people don’t actually want the truth — they want their beliefs validated. When you challenge ideas instead of comforting them, people don’t hear “thinking,” they hear “attack.” Questioning sacred cows, pointing out bad logic, or refusing to pretend feelings outrank facts gets you labeled an asshole fast. But progress has never come from consensus cuddling — it comes from friction.
