Modern racism is policed by cancel culture, not laws!

Racism is less controlled by formal laws and more by cancel culture and social consequences. While anti-discrimination laws exist, many racist statements or actions today are punished through public backlash, job loss, social media bans, and reputational damage rather than legal action. Social platforms and online communities often act as enforcers, deciding what behavior is acceptable. As a result, social pressure and fear of cancellation play a larger role than the legal system in shaping how people express—or suppress—racial attitudes.
